If you visit Dubai you MUST go for a Dubai desert safari. It is a thrill and a real adventure tour. There are few tips and tricks to maximize the enjoyment of desert safaris in Dubai.

Any adventure is a great opportunity and Dubai's desert safari does not disappoint. It was a wonderful adventure from the get go. We were picked up at Reneissance Hotel in a Landcruiser and driven over to the desert. Well trained (and highly courageous) drivers are required to drive on the dunes. Our driver, name Ali, he is very friendly. He is an expert when it comes to driving in a desert! Which did (kind of) prepare me for the crazy, topsy-turvy, sideways, backwards drive on the dunes. Hehehe.. Enjoyed it..The drive on the dunes was simply exhilarating. Coming down a dune sideways, at breakneck speed is a unique experience, one that I recommend for all.

After the thrill ride through the desert, we were taken over to a camp site with more fun in store. We got to ride the camels, have henna tatoo, dressed like locals, smoked hukkas and ate local cuisine while watching cultural performances that included the famed belly dancing.
